Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events £150

HABC Level 2 in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (QCF). 

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work as a steward in the Active Leisure and Learning sector. This may include sporting events, music festivals, rock and pop concerts, parades or carnivals.

Learners gaining this qualification will know how to prepare for events, control entry and exit of customers, identify and deal with crowd problems and respond to emergencies.

HABC Level 2 in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (QCF). 

The HABC Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events has been accredited by the regulators of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (Ofqual, DfES and CCEA) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is supported by SkillsActive, the Sector Skills Council for the sport and active leisure sector.

This qualification comprises of 4 units:

Unit 1 - Preparing for Spectator Events.
Unit 2 - Controlling the Entry, Exit and Movement at Spectator Events.
Unit 3 - Monitoring Crowds and Responding to Potential Crown Problems at Spectator Events.
Unit 4 - Responding to Injuries, Illness and Emergencies in the Active Lesuire and Learning Sector.

This qualification can enable the learner to progress onto the NVQ Level 2 in spectator Saftey, the NVQ in Providing Security Services or undertake further learning in other areas of the private security industry such as CCTV Operations or Security Guarding.
